Gavin Chambers is the founder and CEO of Cairn Capital Partners, an independent financial firm that provides life insurance solutions and wealth strategies for businesses and high net worth clientele. With over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, he works with business owners and key executives across Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Washington.
His career started in the Marines, where he served at the U.S. Embassies in Madrid and Kingston. Following his service, Gavin attended Oregon State University, where he studied computer science, before transitioning to the financial services industry. He then spent 15 years at MassMutual, followed by Principal Financial Group for 5 years. In 2018, Gavin took this experience and founded Cairn Capital Partners.
Outside of work, Gavin is an avid golfer and a director for the Evans Scholars Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides college scholarships to underprivileged youth caddies. Gavin is also a passionate long-distance runner, completing multiple ultra-marathons, in addition to building and programming computers, and supporting the local art scene.
