The Hunt

Here is a small list of what to bring. Valid California hunting license. State and federal waterfowl stamps. 3 boxes of non toxic shells. I recommend 3 or 3.5 inch bb,1 or 2 shot. Dress weather appropriate. No bright colors (orange, red, blue, neon colors etc. ) but camouflage isn’t necessarily. Waterproof boots. Snack and a drink. You may encounter ankle deep water on our hunts so I recommend waders or waterproof boots on all hunts.

You will meet your guide in the town of willows an hour before shooting time the morning of the hunt and Follow your guide to the hunting location. Once at the parking location, you will put on your hunting gear and gather your equipment and follow the guide on a short walk to the blind(transportation to And from the blind available for mobility impaired hunters). After getting to the blind your guide will designate where and how to get in the blind as keeping good cover around the blind is key for a successful goose hunt. Your guide will then go over hunt details and safety instructions. Safety is our #1 priority. As it gets close to legal shooting time, your guide will instruct you to load your gun. Then the hunt will begin.

We require a 50% deposit to book a hunt. Your date and spot is not booked until I receive it. We accept PayPal, Venmo or credit card over the phone for deposits. After receiving your deposit, I will confirm with you that you are in my calendar and your hunt is booked. Then I will be in contact about a week before the hunt to give you final details, an exact address and exact time to meet the morning of the hunt. The remaining 50% will be due the morning of the hunt. For that, cash is preferred but not required.
